Olaves (Olaus) Theodore Olson was born May 26, 1859, north of Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Levor Olson Lindelien and Ingeborg Olsdatter Uhlen, the first of their eleven children.

He was baptized on June 19, 1859 at the First Lutheran Church at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1860 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Levi Oleson 34, Isabel Oleson 24, Olarvus T Oleson 1, Edward Ashelson 23.

Olaves died 1866 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Cannot find his burial site, the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery where his parents are buried at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa wasn't organized until 1868. He may be buried at the Riverview Cemetery near St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
