OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Charles Lewis, 70, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at her home southeast of Osage.

Nee Linnie Shotwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Shotwell, [was born] at Vinton, Iowa, and was a telephone operator for many years, coming to Osage five years ago from Vinton, upon retirement. She was married to Charles Lewis three years ago.

She leaves her husband; two stepsons, Howard, Osage, and Lee, Orchard; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Stanley Williams, Osage.

Preceding her were a half brother, Theodore, and a brother, Ivan, who was killed in Cuba during the Spanish American War.

The body is at the Champion Funeral Home where the funeral will be, with burial at Vinton.
