Ragna (Regina) Marie (Mary) Olsen was born February 10, 1887 on the Gulbrandsen farm at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa to Ole Kristian Olsen (b June 16, 1854 Akershus, Norway, d September 22, 1927 Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing, Minnesota) and Mina Kristine Olsdatter Rustad (b January 6, 1853 Hurdal, Akershus, Norway, d October 21, 1932 Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing, Minnesota), the sixth of their ten children.

Found using the name Regina but mostly Mary. She moved with her parents to High Lake, Emmet, Iowa; then to Graettinger, Palo Alto, Iowa and finally (before 1900) to Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing, Minnesota.

Found in the 1900 census at Township 137, Crow Wing, Minnesota: Christian Oleson 45, Mena C Oleson 46, Marie R Oleson 13, John A Oleson 10, Mena C Oleson 8, William R Oleson 5, Arthur F Oleson 2.

Before 1910, she married Frank Harold McCready (1885 - 1918 Alberta, Canada).

The couple had 4 children:
Ralph Webster (b 1910 North Dakota, d 2002);
Robert Christian (1911 - 1987);
Blanche Eileen (b 1913/1914,d 2004) and
Mina McCready (1916 - 1918 Canada)

The McCready family emigrated in 1913 to Alberta, Canada.

Mina and her father Frank McCready, both died from the Spanish Influenza in 1918 at Canada.

After Frank's death, Mary married Willis Artindale. They had 1 daughter Lillian.

Mary Artindale died 1967 at Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
