Stella Isabel Odden was born July 19, 1895 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Carl Johan Odden and Johanna Iversdatter Dammen, the second of their five children.

Stella was baptized on August 11, 1895 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Dena Hegg; Karen Wahl; Hans Odden and Ole Odden.

Stella married Gilbert Anderson on June 4, 1918 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

The couple had 4 children: Margaret, Clarice, Kenneth and Gerald.

1910: Carl N Odden 45, Johanna Odden 47, Olga Odden 16, Stella Odden 14, Clara Odden 12, Lloyd Odden 9, Mabel Odden 7.

1920: Gilbert Anderson 26, Stella I Anderson 24, Margaret J Anderson 10 mos, Lloyd I Odden 19, Mabel E Odden 17.

Gilbert Andersons moved to the John G. Olson farm.

1925: Gilbert Anderson 31, Stella I Anderson 29, Margarete Anderson 5, Clarice H Anderson 2.

Found in the 1930 census at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: Gilbert Anderson 36, Stella J Anderson 34, Margaret J Anderson 11, Clarice A Anderson 7, Kenneth L Anderson 3 yrs 2 mos.

1932: Gilbert Andersons moved to the Sorlie farm.

Found in the 1940 census at Rudd, Floyd, Iowa: Gilbert Anderson 45, Stella I Anderson 44, Margaret J Anderson 21, Clarice R Anderson 17, Kenneth L Anderson 13, Gerald D Anderson 1, Clarence I Sandiland 37.

Stella I Anderson died April 19, 1982 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
