Nicolai Christopher Nubson was born March 6, 1874 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Christopher Rustebakke Nubson and Marith Andersdatter Lindelien, the second of their ten children.

He was baptized on April 6, 1874 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Amund Nubson; Ingeborg Andersen and Ole Thorsen.

Nicolai C Nubson died June 13, 1874 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
