Mari Kristine Nubson was born August 11, 1882 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Christopher Rustebakke Nubson and Marith Andersdatter Lindelien, the sixth of their ten children.

Mari was baptized on September 10, 1882 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Ole O Fjelde; Ole Olesen Moe and Ragnhild Lindelien Johnsen.

Mari died October 22, 1882 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
