Funeral services were held Saturday, April 9, 1983, at the United Methodist Church in Riceville, Iowa, for Vera E. Huddleston, 69, of McIntire who died Wednesday, April 6, 1983, at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, Iowa. Rev. L. Carlson and Rev. J. Gilbert officiated at the service. Burial was in the Wayne Cemetery in McIntire. Hutchins Funeral Home of LeRoy was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by one son, Richard of McIntire, and one daughter, Ms. Glenn (Jean) Berry of Oronoco, Minnesota, and by six grandchildren.
