Carl Christian Moeller was born September 23, 1819 at Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

He married Dorothea Margaret Caroline Krombeck on May 5, 1855 at Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The couple had 9 children.

The couple emigrated 1855 to Watertown, Wisconsin where they lived a few months and then moved to Columbus, Wisconsin. In 1856, they moved to Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1880 census living on a farm at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa: Christian Moller 60, Dorothea Moller 49, Mary Moller 23,Christian Moller 21, Lizzie Moller 20, Caroline Moller 17, Minnie Moller 15, Clara Moller 14, William Moller 12, Josephin Moller 9, Mata Moller 4.

Found in the 1900 census at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa: Herman A. Bartz 29, Minnie L. Bartz 35, Erwin W Bartz 2, Christian C Moeller 80 (widowed).

Carl C. Moeller died February 6, 1902 at Mitchell County, Iowa and was buried at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
