Clara Eliana Mikkalsen was born 1869 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Ole P Mikkalsen and Martha E Syse (Olsen), one of their two children.

She was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Iowa.

Clara died March 7, 1879 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
