Iola Isenberger, age 90, of Osage, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at the Faith Home in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Iola was born October 22, 1923, on the family farm near Blairsburg, Iowa, the daughter of David and Nellie (Claude) Loux. She grew up near Blairsburg. On May 3, 1943, she married Warren Isenberger in Aurelia, Iowa. They farmed in the Blairsburg/Clarion area until moving to Osage in 1966. Iola enjoyed making quilts for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter.

Iola is survived by her children: Lora Rohrer of Humboldt, Lorene (Ronald) Naze of Kasson, Minnesota, Merry Vance of Sac City, Arlys Waite of Osage, Stanley (Cheryl) Isenberger of Chillicothe, Illinois, Dave (Hui Suk) Isenberger of Princeton, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Anna Larson of Aurelia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Isenberger in 1998; her daughter, Georgia Kerch; two grandchildren, Richard and Jennifer Vance; two sisters and three brothers.

OSAGE, IOWA - Iola Isenberger, 90, of Osage, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at the Faith Home in Osage.
