Gladys Krogstad was born March 27, 1914 at Enderlin, Ransom, North Dakota to Oscar Ludvig Krogstad and Laura Staff, one of ten children. She dad a twin brother, Galen (born March 27, 1914, d April 8, 1914).

Gladys came to Rock, Mitchell, Iowa with her parents in 1917 and settled on a farm.

Found in the 1920, 1925 censuses living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:

1920: Oscar L Krogstad 38, Laura Krogstad 39, Alice Krogstad 15, Orin Krogstad 13, Laurna Krogstad 11, Bernice Krogstad 9, Loyd Krogstad 7, Gladys Krogstad 5, Russel Krogstad 1 yr 1 mo.

1925: Oscar Kragstad 44, Laura Kragstad 44, Alyce Kragstad 20, Oran Kragstad 18, Lorna Kragstad 16, Bernice Kragstad 14, Lloyd Kragstad 12, Gladys Kragstad 10, Gelen Kragstad 3.

Gladys died September 10, 1925 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa at age eleven and was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.
