Anne Elizabeth "Lizzie" Knutson was born December 28, 1879 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, to Knut Engebritsen Knutson and Anna Iversdatter Dahle.

She was baptized on February 22, 1880 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Johann F. Shoger, Ellen Ragnhild Shoger, John N. Johnsen, and Lars N Johnson. She was confirmed at RCLC on June 30, 1895.

Found in the 1880 census at Lincoln, Worth, Iowa: Knudt Knudtsen 34, Anna Knudtsen 22, Emilie C. Knudtsen 1, Anna Elizebeth Knudtsen 5 mos.

1885: J N Daley 62, Elizabeth Daley 64, Oley Daley 24, Anna Knudson 26, Amelia Knudson 6, Lizzie Knudson 5, Ida Knudson 2.

1900: Anne Knudson 42, Lizzie A Knudson 19, Elisabeth Dahley 78.

Anne married Ole E Hylden on December 25, 1904 at the Osage Evangelical Church, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1910 census at Springbrook, Williams, North Dakota: Ole Hylden 29, Anne Elizabeth Knutson Hylden 30.

The couple had one son, Arnold Hylden, who was born and died on May 7, 1914 at Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota.

Anne died June 11, 1918 at Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota (possibly from Spanish Influenza) and was buried at the Wheelock Cemetery, Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota.
