June was born on June 4, 1959, in Stacyville, Iowa, to William and Ada (Barber) Adams.
She was passionate about many things in life. A few of those things were her yard art. Everyone always knew her house by all the colorful glass art that was spread across her whole yard.
Next was her gardening and her flowers, she couldn’t receive a flower magazine without buying at least one gorgeous plant or another. Her favorite were her lilies, all different sizes and colors, every year a new plant. She always had a garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage mainly, all so she could can them or make a fresh batch of sauerkraut.
She also loved to cook. That’s how she paid the neighbors for being so helpful and wonderful.
Last of all, her furry children were her favorite. She loved them as much as she loved the girls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ada Adams, and brothers, Jim Adams and Joseph Adams.
June is survived by her daughters, Jessie Carter of Kellogg, Minnesota, and Rachel Carter of Berlin, Ohio; brothers, John Adams, Stacyville, Jerry (Marilyn) Adams, Stacyville, and sisters, Joyce Buttolph Adams, Austin, Minnesota, Janice (George) Trowbridge, Florida, Jody (Bill) Farris, Mason City; sister-in-law Sheila Adams, Springfield, Tennessee, and numerous nieces and nephews; last but not least her, furry kids, Shadow, Spunkie, and Poof.
