Clifford Orin Klemesrud was born November 5, 1899 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Syver Knudsen Klemesrud and Ella Augustine Schoger, the first of their four sons.

He was baptized on December 24, 1899 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Iowa. HIs baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Ole Dahley; Martha Klemesrud and Ida Knudsen.

Clifford died February 21, 1900 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
