Isabella Andreas (name also found as Ingeborg Andrine or Belle) Johns​on was born May 25, 1871 at Cedar​, Mitchell, Iowa to Joha​n Nikolai Johnson and ​Jorand Ingebritsdatter​ Nelson, the third of their five children.

She was baptized as Ingeborg Andreas Johannesen on June 25, 1871 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. She was confirmed on June 5, 1887 also at RCLC.

Found in the 1900 census at Alden, Freeborn, Minnesota, renting a room: Bell A Johnson age 28 working as a saleswoman.

Sometime between 1900-1910, Belle marrie​d John S Carroll (John b 1873 Wisconsin, d 1924 Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa). The couple had no children.

1910: John Carson (should be Carroll) 38, Belle Carroll 38, Martin Johnsen 28.

1915: Belle Carroll age 44.

1925: Bell A Carroll 53 widowed, Martin J Johnson 42 (brother); Sadie Turner 63.

1930: Bell A Carroll 58, Martin Johnson 48.

1940: Belle A Carroll 68.

Belle Carroll died November 17, 1960 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and was buried at the Elmwood St Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.
