ILLNESS FATAL TO HULDA M. TROGE
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for a Mason City woman, Hulda Troge, 65, who died on March 11, 1981, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
Rev. K. Belk, and Rev. F. Wood of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City, were in charge of the rites at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage, and burial was at Calvary Cemetery southwest of Osage. C. R. Champion and Sons made the arrangements.
Hulda Mabel Troge was born in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, on December 23, 1915, the daughter of Gustave and Alvina Hartwig Troge. She attended rural schools of Cedar Township and was graduated from Osage High School. She made her home in Mason City the past 30 years, and at the time of her death she was employed by Damons, Inc. there.
Miss Troge was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and served on the Altar Guild of Bethlehem Lutheran in Mason City.
Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Ingvald Johnson (Wilma), Mrs. Hans Staff (Hildegarde), and Mrs. Carl Lorence (Darlene), all of Osage, and Mrs. Vinton Waters (Verena) of Island Park, Idaho; four nephews and four nieces.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
