LELAND — Funeral services were held at 1:30 Saturday a Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Leland, for Helene Eide, 72, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin Bennett, LeRoy, Minn. Pastor James Olsen officiated and burial was in Osage.

Mrs. Eide was born near McCallsburg, on March 10, 1884, daughter of Peder and Betsy Egenes. She was married to Enoch Eide in Roland. They lived in Riceville Forest City and Leland.

Mrs. Eide was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers and one sister.

Survivors are five sons Herbert and Robert, Leland; James and Gordon, Riceville; and Kenneth, Mclntire; three daughters, Mrs. W. W. (Mildred) Kruger, Albert Lea; Mrs. Martin (Lillian) Bennett, LeRoy, Minnesota, and Mrs. W. T. (Bonnie) Tilson Spirit Lake. Two brothers and three sisters also survive. They are Otis Egenes, Tyler, Texas, Peter Egenes, McCallsburg; Mrs. Loisa Johnson, Story City; Mrs. Peter Lura, Roland and Mrs. A. N Rassmussen, Forest City. There are 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Mrs. Helen Eide, 72, suddenly of coronary thrombosis, Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Martin Bennett.

Survived by five sons, Gordon and James, Riceville; Kenneth, Mclntire; Herbert and Robert, Leland; and three daughters: Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Wilfred Tillson, Spirit Lake, and Mrs. W. W. Krueger, Albert Lee, Minnesota.

Funeral, Saturday at 1:30 p. m. at Savior's Lutheran Church at Leland; burial in Osage, where a short graveside service will be held.
