Elva (Baldner) Schmitz –
August 8, 1915 – December 20, 2006Preceded in death by husband, John J. Schmitz, on December 15, 1995. They married in 1951 and resided in Arkansas until John's death, when Mrs. Schmitz returned to Waukesha, Wisconsin.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, Meta & John Baldner, and a sister, Rosina Schuette.
Survivors include sons and a daughter-in-law, John & Jean Schmitz, Dousman, WI, and Tom Schmitz, Belleville, WI; stepsons and their wives, Floyd & Mary Schmitz and Jackie & Janet Schmitz, Palestine, TX; four grandchildren; sister, Lucille Babb, North Freedom, WI; nieces and nephews.
Interment in the Church graveyard followed funeral services conducted at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Waukesha, WI, Friday, December 22, 2006; Pastor Peter Schmidt presided.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Elva Baldner was born in Mitchell Co. Iowa August 8, 1915, the daughter of John Philip Baldner and Mate (Meyer) Baldner.
Her mother died in 1924 and her father died in 1928.
