MITCHELL, IOWA — Services for John O. Barrett, 39, who died Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, of head injuries suffered in a car truck accident on Hwy. 20 south of Williams, about 6:30 a.m. Monday, while he was en route to the place of his employment at Madrid, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a daughter, Donna at home; three sons, Robert, Bruce and James, all at home; his father, Donald of Randalia; two brothers, George of Delavin, Illinois, and Thomas of Osage; and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Kauce of Klemme, Mrs. James Fink of Nora Springs, and Mrs. David Lerum of Glassford, Illinois.
