Graveside rites for Benedict Ginder, 32, of Sioux City, Iowa, and formerly of Mitchell County, Iowa, were held on Monday morning at Sacred Heart Cemetery here. Mr. Ginder died on February 1, 1981. His death was bring investigated as foul play was indicated.

Rev. J. Roth, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, was in charge of the rites, and a family rosary was held previously at the Champion Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife Cynthia; two daughters, Debra and Dorie, and a son David, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Rachel Herring of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his step mother, Mrs. Marie Gregory of Wisconsin; two sisters, Mrs. Darel Freie (Rose) of Hansell and Mrs. David Brand (Mary) of LaGrange, Georgia; and three brothers, John L. of Mason City, Michael of West Union and Phillip of Hampton.
