RITES HELD FOR
MRS. JOE WEBERFuneral services were held Saturday at the Visitation Church in Stacyville for Mrs. Joe Weber, 87, who died Friday at the Falk Nursing Home where she had resided for a number of years. Rev. J. Griffin officiated at the funeral mass and at burial services in the Visitation Cemetery. Hatten Funeral Home was in charge.
Anna Gilgenbach was born September 21, 1885 in Johnsburg, Minnesota, and was united in marriage to Joe Weber there. The couple farmed in the Elma and Stacyville areas until their retirement to their home in Stacyville.
Her husband preceded her in death in December, 1964.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Corbin (Theresda) Blake, Stacyville; five sons: Gilbert and Edmund, of Stacyville, Kenneth of Dougherty, Sylvester of New Hampton, and Leo, of Charles City; also 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four children: Aloys, Frederick, Hugo and Gladys.
