RITES HELD FOR
MRS. W. HINZMAN

Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. William Hinzman, 80, of Riceville, who died at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City on July 22, 1971.

Rev. Maurice Gunn, pastor, was in charge of services at the United Methodist church in Riceville, and arrangements were by Chisholm Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside cemetery, Riceville.

Lera B. Dunton was born in Riceville, on December 9, 1890, the daughter of Fred and Mary Dunton.

William Hinzman and Lera Dunton were married on November 12, 1919, in Osage, Iowa.

She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had served as worthy matron. She also served as postmaster in Riceville from December 9, 1930, until May 26, 1935.

She is survived by her husband, William; and by a son, Robert, of Riceville, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
