Lawrence Gustav Stelter was born March 15, 1922 on a farm near Otranto, Mitchell, Iowa to Mary A Schroeder and Gustav William Stelter, the second of their three children. He had 2 sisters, Louise and Bernice.

1930: Gus Stelter 44, Mary Stelter 41, Lucile Stelter 9, Lawrence Stelter 8.

1940: Gus W Stelter 53, Mary A Stelter 51, Lawrence G Stelter 18,Bernice M Stelter 9.

Lawrence married Gala Anna Louise Bork on April 4, 1943 at Austin, Mower, Minnesota. The couple had two sons.

Lawrence G Stelter died August 25, 1995 at Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and was buried at the St Peter Cemetery, Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa.
