Services for John M. Jordan, 89, of Ravenwood Health Care Center, and formerly of Route 1, Cedar Falls, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception* Cemetery in Riceville. Mr. Jordan died Sunday night at the health care center.

He was born May 8, 1895, at Mclntire, son of Richard and Ellen Davis Jordan. He married Maude Sarah Campbell Nov. 20, 1916, at Phillip, S.D. She died August 4, 1977.

He was an area farmer and self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by two sons, Richard of Waterloo and Mark of Nogales, Arizona; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Dotter of Canoga Park, California, and Mrs. Beatrice Browne of Cedar Falls; and 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Oppold Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
