Funeral rites were held Saturday morning at Chisholm Funeral Home in Riceville for Jeannie Lynn Hockens, two month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hockens of McIntire. Jeannie Lynn was found dead in her crib Friday morning, when her mother went to feed her. She had not been ill.

Burial was in the Wayne cemetery in McIntire.

Jeannie Lynn was born December 18, 1970 at Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage, the daughter of Daniel and Lura Jean Kozak Hockens.

Surviving are her parents; a brother, Daniel and sister Debra; her grandparents, Howard Hockens and Mrs. Al Holman of McIntire, Mr. and Mrs. John Kozak of rural Riceville; a great-grandfather, James Gunsallus of Osage, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Geneva Sheer of McIntire.
