Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, 1987 at Forsythe, Missouri, for James Alvin Frank, 65, of Forsythe, Missouri, and formerly of Osage, Iowa, and Northwood, Iowa. Mr. Frank died Friday, June 26, 1987 at the Skaggs Community Hospital, Branson, Missouri.

He was born on April 3, 1922 in Osage, Iowa, to Charles and Ruby (Brown) Frank. He owned an auto body repair shop in Northwood before moving to Forsythe in 1977.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and his parents.

Survivors include is wife, Wanda of Forsythe; one daughter, Jayne Logan of Minnetonka, Minnesota; two sons, James, Jr. of Urbana, Iowa, and Jay of Great Bend, Kansas; five grandchildren; one sister, Helen Draeger of Osage; and one brother, Bob Frank of Illinois.
