Funeral services were held Friday, July 3, 1987, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Freeda C. Diedrich, 96, of rural St. Ansgar, Iowa. She died on Tuesday, June 30, 1987 at an Osage nursing home. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

She was born on August 27, 1890 in Mitchell County, Iowa, to Henry and Josephine (Zerk) Dutte.

She married William F. Diedrich on August 14, 1910 in Toeterville. They lived their entire married life on a farm northeast of Grafton. She continued to live there with her son, John, after her husband's death in 1941.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and infant son; and by four brothers.

Survivors include two sons, John of St. Ansgar and Harry of Grafton; three grandchildren; and one sister, Laura Dutte of Grafton.
