OSAGE, IOWA — Dr. James H. Millard, 77, died Tuesday at Eston, Saskatchewan, Canada, of a heart ailment; funeral services will be at Eston and the body will be sent to Osage for further rites and burial.

A native of Osage; he left here in 1907 for Canada, where he operated; a large wheat ranch and was a veterinarian.

He leaves his widow; one brother, Reed, Osage; four sisters: Mrs. Alice Woodiwiss, Mrs. G. O. Lashbrook, and Mrs. Harry Johnson, all of Osage, and Mrs. Inez Dunn, Bloomington,

The following research credit to Evelyn Nelson.

He was born Dec. 25, 1880 in Mitchell County. He was the fifth child of six children born to Mary Ann Nicholas and Elmer Millard. He married Elsie Reynolds, born November 1881, the daughter of Theodore Reynolds and Jennie (Smith) Reynolds.

Burial at Osage Cemetery.
