Clarice (Clara, Clarissa) Rena Halvorson was born November 2, 1915 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to Iver Dammen Halvorson and Alice Dorothea Huset. She had one brother, Howard.

Found in the 1920 - 1930 censuses living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:
1920: Iver Halvorson 43, Alice Halvorson 32, Howard Halvorson 6, Rena Halvorson 4[4 2/12].
1925: Ina Halverson 48, Alyce Halverson 37, Howard O Halverson 11, Reena Clara Halverson 9.
1930: Iva Halvorson 53, Alice Halvorson 43, Howard Halvorson 16, Clarice Halvorson 14.

Found in the 1940 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Iver Halvorson 64, Alice Halvorson 53, Howard Halvorson 25, Clarice Halvorson 23.

Clarice married Carl Krogh December 1951.

She died April 10, 1962 at Albert Lea, Minnesota and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Obituary from Mason City Globe Gazette, April 11, 1962: Mrs Carl Krogh rites at Rock Creek Lutheran - Osage, Iowa:
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church for Mrs Carl Krogh, 46. A former Osage resident, she died suddenly Tuesday at the Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea, Minnesota. Burial will be in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery at Rock Creek. Champion Funeral home in charge and the Rev. John Quam will officiate.

Born Clarice Halvorson, near Osage, Iowa, she was the daughter of Iver and Alice Halvorson. She was married in December 1951 and had lived in Northwood and Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Surviving are her husband, Carl of Albert Lea, MN and an uncle, Peter Halvorson of Osage, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Howard Halvorson.
