Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Osage, with Monsignor John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a vigil service at 7 p.m.

#3:David C. Caster, age 47, of New Brighton, Minnesota and formerly of Osage, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at his home in New Brighton of natural causes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Msgr. John Hemann officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m.
David was born December 30, 1965, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Charles and Jeannette (Edgerton) Caster. He graduated from Osage High School in 1984 and received all state honors in football. He went on to attend Wartburg College where he played football and graduated with a degree in mathematics in 1988. He was united in marriage to Becky Middleton in 1994. They later divorced. David lived in Austin, Minnesota, for many years and for the last several years lived in the Twin Cities. He was employed by Lubrication Technology as a shipping technician. David enjoyed the Minnesota Vikings and Twins.
David is survived by four sisters, Susan (Donald) Cook of Reynolds, Nebraska, Sarah (Rodney) Bobst of Menahga, Minnesota, Jane (Mark) Crowell of Jesup, Martha Caster of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Ann Wasik of the Twin Cities.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
