Bea Wanless, the former Bessie Vulk, died Augsut 20, 1986 at a Madison, Wisconsin hospital after a brief illness with cancer. She was a resident of Oregon, Wisconsin.

She was born in Osage, Iowa, on June 17, 1919, the daughter of Lewis and Frances (Kucera) Vulk. She graduated from Osage High in 1926 and was married to William Wanless in 1946. He died in 1966.

Services were held at Booth Gunderson Funeral Home in Oregon, Wisconsin, with Rev. R. Eagle officiating. Burial was at Prairie Mound Cemetery there.

Survivors include two sons, Richard of Madison, Wisconsin, and Dennis of Milwaukee; two grandsons, Pat Robert in Germany, and Matthew of Madison, Wisconsin; and brothers: Joe, Frank and Lewis Vulk, all of the Osage area.
