Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 9, 1986, at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa, for Mary Rebecca Jenkins, 79, of Osage. Rev. J. Gilbert of David Community Church officiated, and burial was in the Brownville Cemetery, rural Osage.

Mary died on Saturday, December 6, 1986 at an Osage nursing home.

She was born on July 13, 1907 in Benton County, Missouri, to William and Addie (Stewart) Jenkins. She moved to Iowa with her parents and family in 1922. After the death of her parents, she lived with various relatives including her sisters, Ida Cooper and Maude Squier of Osage. Miss Jenkins has been a resident of Maple Manor nursing home since 1969.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Katherine Jenkins of Osage, and Catherine Jenkins of Washington state.
