Louisa (Langrock) Heebner – May 17, 1866 – January 11, 1944

Rev. Carl Schulz will officiate at funeral services at two o'clock Friday afternoon for Mrs. Emil Heebner, 77 years of age, who passed away at her home in Belle Fourche at 8:30 Tuesday morning as the result of a paralytic stroke. She was ill only 14 hours before her death. Burial in Pine Slope Cemetery.

Louisa Langrock was born at Stacyville, Iowa, May 17, 1866. She married to Emil Heebner June 4, 1886, Mr. and Mrs. Heebner passing their Golden Wedding seven years ago last June, having been married 57 years and six months at the time of her passing.

From Iowa Mr. and Mrs. Heebner moved to Pierre in 1908 and engaged in farming in that vicinity. Later they farmed near Wessington Springs and in 1915 they moved to the vicinity of Nisland, purchasing a farm in that community. After several years spent there they gave up farming and moved to Belle Fourche where they have made their home since.

Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Heebner, four sons preceding their mother in death. Surviving to mourn her passing are the widower; five daughters, Mrs. Mike Salem, Spearfish; Mrs. Parks Du Pont, and Mrs. E J Kvam, Lead; Mrs. Anna Salem, Belle Fourche; and Mrs. Robert Weber Hot Springs. One son, Fred Heebner, Greely, Colo., and 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also three sisters and one brother.

Louisa Langrock was born May 17, 1866 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of William Langrock and Rosana(Helm) Langrock.

She married Emil Gustav Heebner, the son of Martin Huebner and Ernstine (Ueker) Huebner.

Yes, Emil used a spelling of Heebner and not Huebner.
She and her husband were buried in Pine Slope Cemetery, Belle Fourche, Butte County, South Dakota
