SMITH, Mathilda M. (Nana) beloved mother of Mrs. Bernice Morrill, Mrs. Harriet Linder and Norris O. Smith; sister of Mrs. Alma Kearney, the Misses Esther and Grace Duenow; also survived by 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation beginning at 3 p.m., Thursday. Service 12 noon, Friday at the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills.
Forest Lawn Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Braille Institute.

Mathilda M Duenow was born in Saint Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa on January 26, 1885, the daughter of William Friedrich Duenow and Elizabeth (Wagner) Duenow. She died February 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, California and was buried in Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills Cemetery, Los Angeles.

She married Seamer Sylvester Smith, the son of John and Ellen Smith. Seamer was born November 7, 1876 in Iowa and died in 1932. He was buried in the Oakdale Memorial Park Cemetery, Glendora, Los Angeles Co., California. His parents are also buried there. See Find A Grave memorial #11726935
