OSAGE BURIED HERE

Funeral services for E.V. Cady, 77, of Rockford, Illinois, were held Monday at the Champion Funeral home, with Rev. C.D. James officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Mr. Cady was a former resident of Osage.

He was born at Mitchell, Iowa, in 1872, and as a young man he came to Osage where he was employed in a grocery store. He was married to Cora Walling of Osage. The couple later moved to Meroa where Mr. Cady operated a creamery, the to Waterloo, Iowa where for many years he was a realtor. He moved to Rockford, Illinois in the early 1930's.

Survivors include a son, William, of Chicago.
