EUGENE HOWARD GRAY

Funeral services for Eugene H. Gray, were held at two o'clock Monday, June 6, from the Seavey funeral home with Rev. Allyn Hansen officiating. Interment was in the Morrison cemetery.

Mr. Gray passed away at his home in Morrison township June 3, 1949, at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 6 days.

Eugene Howard Gray was born at Osage, Iowa, June 27, 1870, and there grew to manhood. He was married on October 22, 1891, at New Haven, Iowa, to Gertrude Dellage.

They made their home in Iowa until 1920 when they went to Aitkin county, Minnesota. They lived 12 years in Spencer township and them moved to the Morrison community.

He is survived by his wife and nine children, Roy and Lee, at Aitkin; Frank, Wausau, Wis.; Albert, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Herbert, Columbus, Nebraska; Verne, Clear Brooke, Minnesota. Mrs. Grace Wilson, Mason City, Mrs. Bernice Ferguson, Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Arthur Lowe, Roscoe, Illinois; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, Three children preceded him in death.
