DIED AT STACYVILLE
AT 94 YEARS OF AGE

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Simon Waldorf, 94, of Stacyville, were held Friday morning, February 18, 1949, at St. John's church at Johnsburg, Minnesota. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Waldorf died last Tuesday at the Falk nursing home in Stacyville at the age of 94 years and five months.

She was born in Marytown, Wisconsin, April 12, 1854, and married Matt Waldorf, who died 25 years ago. Mrs. Waldorf spent most of her life in Mitchell County, with the exception of a few years at Stewart, Minnesota. She was a faithful member of the Catholic church all her life and belonged to the Christian Mother Society.

Surviving are one son, John, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Fanata, Stewart, Minnesota, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three daughters.
