Mr. and Mrs. T.T. Thompson are mourning the death of their little three year old son, Francis, whose little life went out on Sunday morning at one o'clock, after a severe illness of about two weeks. The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of all in their affliction.

Last week we stated that the report that T.T. Thompson's boy had scarlet fever was incorrect. And such it was pronounced but subsequent developments proved it to be scarlet fever. And as stated elsewhere it terminated fatally on Sunday morning. However, there are no cases in town at present as far as we have been able to learn.
