On last Saturday morning the death came into the home of Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Swain claiming their little daughter, Clarice Olive, who came to gladden the home only for a short time, being born July 8th, and answering the death summons August 14th, making her five weeks and two days of age.

Little Clarice seemed usually well until a week ago when she was taken suddenly ill and which developed into whopping cough and bronchitis, the effects of which the delicate constitution of the little one was unable to throw off and death came just a week later to relieve the little sufferer.

The funeral was held at the U.N.L. church Sunday at 12:30 o'clock p.m. and the remains of the little one laid to rest in the U.N.L. cemetery. Rev. M.E. Waldeland officiating.

The Enterprise wish to join their sympathy with that of the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Swain in this their bereavement.
