Ella Mary (Fairchild) Kilpatrick –
September 1856 – October 31, 1933

MRS. KILPATRICK FUNERAL RITES ARE HELD IN OSAGE

Osage, Nov. 2 – Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Kilpatrick, who died Tuesday at the home of a daughter in Denver, Colorado, were held at the Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. Sylvester Ellis of the Methodist Church officiating.

Mr. Kilpatrick was for a number of years a molder in the Kelly-Morgan Foundry in Osage.

The family moved to Waterloo in 1888 when this business was transferred to that city.

Since Mr. Kilpatrick’s death 24 years ago, Mrs. Kilpatrick made her home with her daughter in Denver. A son, George, living in Waterloo, also survives her.

Ella Mary Fairchild was born September 1856 in Illinois, the daughter of George Nelson Fairchild and Clara (Palmer) Fairchild.

She married Thomas Edward Kilpatrick (aka Edward Thomas), the son of James and Sarah Kilpatrick.

The daughter mentioned in the above obit was Pearl C. (Kilpatrick) Roe. She was born September 12, 1882 and died November 5, 1970 in San Bernardino, California. She married Sherman Roe. They lived in Denver Colorado in the 1920-1930 Census’s. Sherman must have died between 1930-1940 as she is a widow by 1940.
