FORMER NORTH IOWAN IS DEAD
MISS LAURA BUBLITZ, ONCE OF ST. ANSGAR, DIES IN CALIFORNIA

St. Ansgar – Miss Laura Bublitz, 39, daughter of Mrs. Anna Bublitz of St. Ansgar, died Sunday in a Santa Cruz, California sanitarium following a nervous breakdown.

Miss Bublitz, who for the past 15 years had taught in the Santa Cruz schools, is survived by her mother, two uncles; Otto Seefeld and Herman Seefeld of st. Ansgar; and two aunts, Amelia Seefeld of St. Ansgar and Augusta Seefeld of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She was a graduate of St. Ansgar High School, and had also attended the University of Iowa at Iowa City and Columbia University at New York City.
The body will be sent to St. Ansgar for burial.
