Norma A. Berg, 86, a former resident of Northwood, Iowa, died on September 14, 2001, in Georgia where she had made her home since 1993.

She was born on April 5, 1915, the daughter of Hans and Cora (Carlsgaard) Kuhlmann, On September 22, 1934 in Mason City, she married Leslie O. Berg. Mrs. Berg had been employed at Montgomery Wards, retiring in 1978.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Merri and Preben Heidemann of Jonesboro, Georgia; a granddaughter, Nicole, of Augusta, Georgia; four brothers: Howard of Arvada, Colorado, Jay of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Harley of Hokah, Minnesota, and Allen of Sergeant, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; three brothers, Vernon, Charles, and Harold and two sisters, Bernice McSweeney and Helen Enright. Norma Berg will be buried at the Northwood Cemetery in Northwood.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
