AGED OSAGE MAN
IS FOUND DEADBody of Richard Hill, 72
Located Along Bank of
Little Cedar.OSAGE, IOWA, September 21 — The body of Richard Hill, 72, was found along the Little Cedar River, a mile east of town, by a posse which had been looking for him for two hours. The discovery was made about 10 o'clock Monday night.
The man hunt was begun after Mrs. Hill hail notified officers at 8 o'clock that her husband had not come home.
The body was found lying face down in the mud along the bank of the river. Officers were told that Mr. Hill had gone up the river earlier In the evening to hunt elderberries.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, one son, Fred, two brothers, Link Hill, Osage, and Silo Hill of Ostrander, Minnesota.
Heart disease is said to have been the cause of his death.
