WILCOX RITES HELD

Leroy, Minn. – Funeral services for Mrs. George Wilcox, 84, former resident near LeRoy, were held at the Congregational Church at Riceville, Iowa, Wednesday.

She lived on a farm five miles south of LeRoy for many years and moved to Riceville about 12 years ago.
She leaves twin daughters, a sister and a brother

Amelia Tienken was born February 1868 in New York, the daughter of Martin Tienken and Frederika (Meyer) Tienken. She married George V. Wilcox., the son of Robert and Marie Wilcox.
Amelia and George are buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa

They had three children; a son, Robert M Wilcox 1891-1910 and twin daughters Nora and Lora who were born June 3, 1902.

Nora married Frank J. Lane. She died in April 1984 and is buried in the Roselawn Cemetery, Fort Collins, Larimer Co., Colorado.

Lora married Arthur Baasch. He died in 1949 and she married Harry VanDeWalker.
Lora died in March of 1988.
