Emilie Katherine Bystol was born August 1, 1885 in Wisconsin to Lars (Lewis) Bystol and Mary Daniels. She was one of their ten children. The family moved west to Worth County, Iowa.

1915: Emily C Bystol age 28 years.

Emilie married Martin Fjelde (Field) December of 1919 at Iowa. The couple had 2 children.

Emily Field died January 27, 1979 at Mitchell County, Iowa. She is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
