RICEVILLE MAN DIES IN ARKANSAS
Riceville – John A. fox, 69, former Riceville resident, died at Hot Springs, Arkansas. Burial was at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, in the National Cemetery with full military honors.
John Albert Fox was born at Riceville January 20, 1891. He served in World War I, and was active in the American Legion.
He was a civil service employee at the Atomic Energy Plant at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, 11 years, and moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, upon his retirement several years ago.Survivors include two sisters; Mrs. Emma Evans, Osage; and Mrs. Ethel Winchell, Kansas City, Kansas; and cousins including Theis Fox and Glendon Fox, Riceville. He spent several summers with the Theis Fox Family.
