W. H. ROCHE BODY TAKEN TO RICEVILLE

Riceville – Mrs. E. C. Richmond who accompanied her sister, Mrs. William Roche, to this place, is renewing her acquaintances here.

They brought the body of W. H. Roche here for services and burial.

He had for many years before going to California been a member of the Roche Pharmacy.

William Henry Roche was born April 30, 1873 in Iowa, the son of Patrick Roche and Bridget (Kane) Roche. He married Nellie Frances Burke, the daughter of Edmund Burke and Mary (Mahoney) Burke.

His wife was born September 15, 1873 in Iowa and died December 25, 1946 in Los Angeles (California death index 1940-1997).

Williams, full name and birth date is from WWI Draft Registration, Riceville, Mitchell Co., Iowa: September 12, 1918. He was a drug clerk for E. C. Richmond, in Riceville.

In 1880 the family was living in Afton, Howard Co., Iowa
