MRS. HACKENMILLER, STACYVILLE, IS DEAD

Stacyville – Mrs. Joseph Hackenmiller died Thursday morning at her farm home west of here after a year’s illness.

Surviving are her husband and three children, Joseph; Rudolph; and Margaret; three brothers; Fred; Tony; and Frank, all of Wisconsin.

Funeral services are pending arrival of relatives.

Gertrude Neis was born April 10, 1887 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Neis and Angela (Weber) Neis. She married Joseph Hackenmiller, the son of Hubert Hackenmiller and Katherine (Thome) Hackenmiller.

She was buried in the Visitation Cemetery, Mitchell Co., Iowa

They had 3 children:
Joseph Hubert born March 28, 1919
Rudolph F born September 23, 1921
Margaret G born October 18, 1926…she married Paul Mayer
