Ethel A. (Page) Dano – July 7, 1878 – October 15, 1958

Ethel A. Dano, Former Resident Dies in California October 15.

Ethel A. Dano, former Riceville resident, passed away October 15, 1958 in Poway, California with interment being held in the San Marcos Cemetery, San Marcos, California.

Mrs. Dano was born in 1878 in Riceville, the youngest daughter of William Cullen Page and Clara Chandler Page, themselves being long-time residents of Riceville.

In 1896 she was united in marriage to Florenz E. Dano, who for several years was editor of the Riceville Recorder.

Mrs. Dano was preceded in death by her husband and by all of her brothers and sisters. She leaves two adopted daughters to mourn her passing. During her last illness, she was cared for by one of these adopted daughters, Mrs. Leslie Page (Clara Joan Dano) of San Marcos, California.

At the very last, it was necessary to have her cared for in a nursing home at Poway, California."
