Charles City - Funeral services were held Friday at Osage for Benjamin Wright, 87, who died at Cedar Valley Hospital here, had been ill five weeks following a stroke; a retired farmer, he had been making his home at the Stratten Nursing Home.

He is survived by three children, John Wright, Charles City, Marlon G. Wright, Stacyville and Estelle Moss, Waterloo. His wife preceded him in death.

Benjamin Franklin Wright was born November 1869 in Iowa, the son of Benjamin Franklin Wright Sr. and Hannah (Balsey) Wright. He married Millie Rilla Elliott, who was born December 1879 in Richland Co., Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph Franklin Elliott and Julia Amelia (Howland) Elliott.

Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa
